#crushyourtbr finished!

Hello, I hope your read-a-thons are going well :)
So although I was working until 9-10pm both days... here are the books that I finished:

Splintered by A.G.Howard
- I really liked the 'love triangle' in this novel and thought the world building was very vivid, particularly the Wonderland descriptions. The description of bugs in the novel creeped me out a bit though.

The Search by Eric Heuvel et al
-Although very sad this comic  was not only a good read but it was also educational. The art work was done nicely and I feel that it had an interesting perspective on the Holocaust.

Aristotle and Dante discover the secrets to the universe by  Benjamin Alire Sáenz
-Well you can tell why it's won so many awards. The language used in this novel was simply beautiful and the plot was quite predictable but again beautiful. Also, this was the first novel that I have read set around a Mexican protagonist... and I fell in love with him!

Geek Girl: Geek Drama by Holly Smale
-I am halfway through this novella and I hope to finish it this evening. It's just as funny as her first novel and has all the cringe-worthy protagonist problems.

I didn't have time to read Goblin Market by Christina Rossetti but I shall be reading it soon!

Adiós amigos...

#crushyourtbr TBR

Hello beauties,
I am very excited to take part in my second read-a-thon! It starts at 2am (your time) on the Friday until Sunday and they are going to be every Month! However, I will be working all weekend so I didn't set myself very difficult targets... if I read more I will let you know.
So without further ado here are the books:

The Search by Eric Heuvel et al... A comic about the Holocaust, bought in Anne Frank House in Amsterdam

Geek Girl: Geek Drama by Holly Smale... a world book day £1 book, something light after the comic!

Goblin Market by Christina Rosseti... a colletion of poems I've wanted to read for a while as they are mentioned in The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making and I love that book.

I am also currently reading Splintered by A.G. Howard which I am loving! I might have to buy the other two in the series soon :)

Let me know what is on your TBR and if you have read any of these books,
Sofiee
